ELIXIR INVOICING

Terms & Conditions

Effective: October 23, 2026  ·  Last updated: October 23, 2026

The short version

1. The service and these terms

Elixir Invoicing is provided by Elixir Construction Ltd., based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use Elixir Invoicing for a business.

2. Plans and pricing

PlanMonthlyYearlyFinalized invoices / monthHighlights
Bronze$7$7010Core invoicing and estimates, customers, manual products, 1 template, 1 tax
Silver$13$13030Everything in Bronze, plus trade starter catalogs, all 12 templates, two taxes, before/after photos, jobs & calendar, Pay Now link, client signature approval, reports including invoice profit and receivables aging, Google review requests
Gold$19$190UnlimitedEverything in Silver, plus receipt scanning (OCR), backup & restore, calendar (.ics) export, accountant tax export (CSV)

Only finalized invoices count toward the monthly cap. Drafts, estimates and clients are never capped. The counter resets on the first day of each month, and deleting a finalized invoice frees a slot. If you reach your cap, a new invoice saves as a draft and the app explains your options — nothing is lost. Prices exclude applicable taxes (for example GST/HST in Canada or state sales tax in the US) where those apply. Some features are marked with a lock in the app because they belong to a higher plan; upgrading unlocks them immediately and downgrading re-locks them without ever deleting or altering your data.

3. Billing, renewal and cancellation

4. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for activity under it. Keep your password private. One account serves one business; if that changes, contact us and we will help. Tell us promptly through Help & Support inside the app if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

5. Your data is yours

You own your business data — your invoices, clients, products, expenses and everything you enter. You give us only the limited permission needed to store, process, display, sync and back it up so the app works for you. Your documents are your business records: you are responsible for their accuracy, for the taxes you charge, and for keeping your own copies where your business or the law requires them. You can export a full backup at any time from Settings → Backup & Restore (Gold plan).

6. Sending documents

When you send an invoice or estimate through the app — by email, share sheet or PDF — you are responsible for its content and for having the right to contact the recipient. You agree to comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and, in the United States, the CAN-SPAM Act, for any messages you send using the app. Documents sent by email include a small "Sent with Elixir Invoicing" footer.

7. Getting paid (Pay Now)

If you add a payment link in Settings, the "Pay now" button on your invoices takes your client to your own payment provider (for example, your own Stripe payment link). Payments are processed by that provider under its own terms and fees; we are not a party to payments between you and your clients, we never hold your funds, and we cannot issue refunds for them.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Elixir Invoicing to break the law, send spam, infringe anyone's rights, attempt to access other accounts or the service's systems without authorization, or disrupt the service for others. We may suspend or close accounts that do this, after notice where practical.

9. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep the app available and your data safe, and the app works offline with your on-device data. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Ending the service, and your account

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time — see our account deletion page. We may discontinue the service or a feature with reasonable notice given in the app; if we ever shut the service down entirely, we will give you a window to export your data first.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will announce it inside the app and update the date at the top of this page before the change takes effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes will be resolved in British Columbia, Canada — unless consumer-protection law in your own province or state gives you the right to proceed locally, in which case that right stands.
